NOTE: Yes, I realize it could be a problem with my Mac, but it's a brand new MBPro and no problems with Suitcase Fusion or any other apps leads me to believe that it's either a buggy program or just doesn't work with Mojave and Adobe CC 2019 apps yet. It has been mentiond 6 times since March 2021. but ultimately, if the app doesn't work, it probably doesn't even deserve that. Based on our record, RightFont should be more popular than FontDoctor. RightFont is the new generation font management software for Mac' and is a Font Library tool in the os & utilities category. I give it a half star for having a nice UI. RightFont is described as 'is the best font manager app for macOS, helping designers to preview, sync and manage fonts and find the right font quickly. I was so looking forward to using this app full-time, so I'm highly disappointed in the results I got. Having to keep the app open at all times was disappointing as well, coming from Suitcase Fusion where I rarely launch the actual app.
In RightFont itself, I could select numerous fonts at once, but clicking activate only actually activated the first few (selecting 20 fonts took clicking activate 5 times to actually activate all of them). I like to organize my fonts in groups and doing this in RF is not nice. Ive been using RightFont, and it does an OK job, but I dont like the interface. Unlike Apples own font manager, FontBase does offer support for web. Occasionally RF will balk on certain fonts and only partially activate or fail to activate them. My current solution is Apple's Font Book app with a library of my mostly used fonts, and then RightFont for on the fly add ins.

FontBase does not support Type 1 fonts (seriously), that was nowhere in their tech specs. How do you all preview sample text in multiple fonts? I use RightFont not sure if Fontbase is any better looks identical though.Running macOS Mojave and Adobe CC 2019, I couldn't get Auto Activation to work at all in any app. It has a lot of cool features and is free.I used to use Font Explorer X Pro, but a year or two ago switched to RightFont and it’s been great cause now I can sync my library between my laptop and desktop.
